The countdown to the eagerly awaited premiere of “Maestro” has begun.

The MEGA series written and directed by Christoforos Papakaliatis premieres on Thursday 16 May, at 22:40. “Maestro” made television history a year ago when it was acquired for worldwide distribution by Netflix, climbing into the international Top 10 of non-English series in 18 countries.

Through the first trailer of the MEGA series, we travel once more to the picturesque little Ionian island of Paxos and get a first taste of what the new episodes of “Maestro” have in store.

The second season consists of 6 episodes, which pick up the thread of the story where the cathartic finale of the first season left it. Meanwhile, Christoforos Papakaliatis and the stellar cast of “Maestro” are already filming the third and final season, of 4 episodes, which is expected to air in autumn 2024 on MEGA and Netflix.
